After stepping away from full-time development work, I felt stuck knowing I was capable, experienced, and smart. But I was unsure how I fit into a world that suddenly spoke in algorithms and automation.

So I did what I’ve always done when something matters: I leaned in.

I studied. I tested. Pushed ALL the buttons. I asked uncomfortable questions. I let myself be a beginner again — even when it would have been easier to stay quiet. And slowly, something shifted. I stopped trying to keep up… and started learning how to leverage AI in a way that supported me, not the other way around.

What I discovered changed everything.

AI isn’t about becoming more technical.
It’s about reclaiming time, clarity, and confidence — especially in midlife, when your energy is precious and your experience deserves to be leveraged, not ignored.

Today, through AI Confident Collective, I help midlife professionals — especially Realtors and small business owners — get unstuck and leverage AI as a practical business assistant. I teach people how to curate the right tools, build simple systems, and create forward momentum without overwhelm or performative “techiness.”

I’ve taught live AI classes to Realtors at organized events, work one-on-one with clients, and guide professionals who want calm clarity — not another platform to manage. I teach adults who are just curious about AI and what it's all about. Online classes for Realtors and business professionals are launching soon.

I didn’t arrive at AI because I was chasing the next shiny tool.
I arrived because I needed a better way to work — and a way forward that made sense at this stage of life.

For years, I worked in large-scale real estate and community development, managing complex, mixed-income projects with budgets exceeding $100 million. My role required aligning public agencies, private developers, architects, contractors, and community stakeholders — all while keeping timelines, financing, and people moving forward together. Systems, accountability, and clear communication weren’t optional. They were the job.

Then came the pause that many midlife professionals know well.
