My path into the digital world started from an unexpected place: storytelling. I have always loved directing and shaping ideas visually, which is what first drew me into digital marketing. I took my first digital course out of curiosity and immediately saw the creative potential of the online world. One course led to another. I genuinely love learning, and before long I found myself deep in the mechanics of digital platforms, content creation, and online business.

Around the time I turned fifty, I had an uncomfortable realization. Despite a long professional career in real estate development in post-Katrina New Orleans, I did not understand the digital world nearly as well as I should have. Technology had moved quickly, and artificial intelligence was suddenly everywhere. Instead of ignoring it, I leaned in. I studied the tools, tested everything I could find, and approached AI the same way I approach any complicated problem—with curiosity and persistence.

What I discovered surprised me. AI is far more practical and approachable than most people think! Once you understand a few fundamentals, it becomes an incredibly useful tool for organizing ideas, improving productivity, removing friction and repetition from everyday professional work.

That realization shaped the work I do today through AI Confident Collective. I teach Realtors, entrepreneurs, and small business professionals how to leverage AI in ways that are practical, clear, and immediately useful. Through workshops, presentations, and one-on-one consulting, I help experienced professionals curate the right tools, build simple workflows, and use AI as a capable business assistant rather than another complicated platform.

Most of the people I work with are successful professionals who know they need to understand AI but are not interested in becoming programmers. My goal is to make the learning process straightforward, calm, and genuinely useful so they can apply these tools with confidence in their own businesses.
